Growing up in the military, Alan spent his formative years in the UK where he went on to study engineering and weld testing techniques. He then transitioned into the role of professional diver, working in the oil fields of the UK and Norwegian sectors of the North Sea, before settling into Seattle in 2002. When not in the office, Alan, enjoys spending time with his daughter Calleigh, photography, taking advantage of the Pacific Northwest’s hiking, camping and skiing opportunities, and traveling internationally.
